Club History


The first luncheon of the Republican Women of Cary was held in November 1992. The organization became a member of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women in 1993. Membership in the Republican Women of Cary and Southwestern Wake gives you membership in the NCFRW and the Naitonal Federation of Republican Women

Objectives of the Club


  • To promote an informed electorate through political education and activity
  • To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation
  • To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and promote its principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections
  • To build a two-party system and increase membership in the Republican party in Wake County
  • To cooperate with the National and NC Federations of Republican Women
  • To promote the principles of freedom, equality, and justice upon which the government of this country is founded

    Dues: $35 annually(full membership)
    $15 annually (associate)
    Meetings: First Thursday each month except June and July
